dance hall drug
Besides the fact that I would love to have this sign lighting up in my basement (I am quite the sucker for beautiful typography and pretty lights), I am in dire need of a party. One complete with a darkened room, strobe lights, and a sick DJ with an amazing hip-hop playlist. It feels incredibly weird to have not danced since the end of June when dance team’s season ended and the last semester of classes were finished – every time I hear something good on the radio I have this insuppressible urge to simply dance. And it doesn’t help that my favorite heels are begging to be worn and danced in until my feet can barely move. They are feeling rather neglected at the moment.
I just need to dance my heart out.
And nothing fills a party void better than select photography from le Cobrasnake that are sans the drunken stupor and trashiness. My favorites over the past year:

I love the photos from Cobrasnake! They always put me in a good mood! Here’s my entry:
It was a crazy day at work! I’ve had a long day and I couldn’t wait to go home and relax. So I walked back slowly, looking down at my sore feet and wondering what I’ll eat for dinner. Before I went up to my apartment, I checked my mail and screamed! Oh yes! Merci! My Current/Elliot black leggings I won from La Couturier! I did a little dance and then looked around to make sure nobody saw it but couldn’t care less if anyone did!
This is perfect! This is amazing! This is exactly what I want! I talked to myself while I paced back back and forth around my living room like a mad woman clutching the leggings. So now! What should I wear with it? The possibilities! But for tonight, I will pair it with my new white pocket tee from NastyGal Vintage and my printed Chanelesque jacket and my beautiful dimaond bracelet from my dear aunt. Then I’ll put on a pair of gladiator heels and mess up my hair a little bit for that casual coolness. Finally I’ll grab my black leather bag and headed out the door feeling as fabulous as a Manhanttan socialite! Au Voire! xxoxoxoxoxoxo

Great post! I love lack of drunk stupor in these pics as well… sometimes partying is just so much less glamorous than it should be. The first girl is fab as is the fourth. I adore the boots the last girl is wearing as well. Probably the most practical footwear for dancing in!
